Grain Spawn

  1. Two cups malted barley per one litre jar
  2. Rinse grain in cold water a few times
  3. Soak 12-24 hours with 1tsp/5gal gypsum
  4. Bring grain & water to boil, simmer for 15 minutes
  5. Drain and cool grain
  6. Fill jars 3/4 full and close with lids
  7. Cover lids with foil
  8. Sterilize in pressure cooker at 15PSI for 90 minutes
  9. Using sterile methods, inject 1-2ml spawn per jar

Grow Bags Recipe

For four bags:

  1. 5.5 litres of hardwood pellets
  2. 1.5 litres of wheat/oat bran
  3. 6.5 litres of water
